BRIDGERTON’s Jonathan Bailey said “it made me scream” after ripping his tight pants in the season two set.

The actor who played Anthony Bridgerton in the hit Netflix series said he suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction while filming a fencing scene.

The 33-year-old star wore tight-fitting trousers, but was blushed after being “ripped in her crotch” on camera.

“As men, we wouldn’t complain about restrictive attire when we’re sitting with women and their corsets,” Jonathan recalled at Bridgerton’s press conference this week, but the most embarrassing was definitely the fencing sequence.

“In certain places, the uniforms were very tight and I wore flimsoles on wet, dewy grass.

“For the last lunge with Benedict, my crotch was torn and everything was caught on camera.’

“That’s the moment I suddenly realized that you were being filmed with a different camera and yelled, “I’m so ashamed!”

Bridgerton will be delighted with a new series that heralds the love triangle between her sisters Kate and Edwina Sharma (played by Simone Ashley and Charithra Chandran) and Anthony.

Here’s Netflix’s synopsis: “When Anthony began courting Edwina, Kate discovered the true nature of his intentions. True love unity isn’t on his priority list. And she decides to break the bond with all her might.”

“But in doing so, Kate and Anthony’s oral sparring bout only brings them closer and complicates matters on both sides.”

But fans are shocked. Because the new series of upper-class dramas contain very little gender.

The debut season of Netflix’s Regency-era Bonbuster was packed with action-packed heat.

But the sequel, which airs on Friday, lacks intimate moments, despite a trailer that ridicules the passion between lead actors Jonathan Bailey, 33, and Simone Ashley, 26.

One clip features Jonathan coming out of a lake in a wet shirt as Colin Firth’s Mr Darcy in the 1995 Pride and Prejudice TV series.

A TV official said, “Those who liked The Lacey Shaw’s first aid probably wanted the sequel to include more sex.

“Most of the bedroom scenes were previously provided by Phoebe Dynevor as Daphne Bridgerton and Rege-Jean Page as her husband, Duke of Hastings.

“But he didn’t appear in series 2 and she’s more of a background character.

“Now all the romance revolves around Anthony Bridgerton, played by Jonathan, and a new character, Kate Sharma, played by Simone.

“But their lust never develops beyond a flirt and rarely a kiss.”

In Series 1, Jonathan exposed her ass within three minutes of the first episode when she leaned against a tree and had sex with Siena Rosso, played by Sabrina Bartlett.
