GEMMA Collins revealed that she rushed for emergency surgery a few days before rehearsal in Chicago.
The 41-year-old took on the role of Mama Morton in a musical this week and announced she will be performing on stage for the first time in May.
However, former Towie star Gemma told fans on Instagram today that she received treatment for a wisdom tooth that suffered “too painful”.
Gemma posted a clip of her own surgeon, saying: “Guys, this man is a god to me today. I was so painful. You know I’m going on a trip next week… My life never goes smoothly. It’s always a drama.
“I had to have my wisdom tooth pulled out. It was painless, painless, and comfortable.”
Gemma then offered his followers eerie close-ups of the bloodstained teeth.
Before Chicago rehearsals begin, Gemma will be on stage for her show next week.
GC’s Big Night Out tour starts in Manchester and tours the country with the show, ending in Newcastle on 14 April.
Announcing her exciting Chicago news earlier this week, Gemma wrote: “It’s official! I’m joining @chicagoonstage to play Matron ‘Mama’ Morton from Tuesday, May 31, 2022!”
Sun released the news earlier this month and said how former Towie star Gemma would take over from Sinitta.
A source at the time said, “Gemma has been secretly talking about the role of Mama Morton for a while and is very excited about this opportunity.
“She hasn’t signed anything yet because there are still issues to be resolved with the contract. But with her everything is going well and she will sign in the next few days.”
After gaining fame on the ITV2 reality show in 2011, Gemma was made a pseudonym for her TV appearances.
The GC revealed her former celebrity Big Brother housemate Darren Day, who said her infamous catchphrase “I’m claustrophobic Darren”.
“Thank you to everyone who has helped me on this journey,” she said.
“@staceyhaynes, Tim Reed, lovely song teachers Ian, David, Mark… they all believed in me.
“My dearest mother, Sid, and Darren, who is also claustrophobic, encouraged me to the end.”
