In the 1977 film Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo, the Volkswagen Beetle, Herbie, reached #6.
Even the applauding Fiat Cinquecento from the Inbetweeners made it into the top ten.
“The cars on the screen stole our hearts as much as the characters,” said Aidan Rushby of Carmoola, a car finance app that conducted the survey.
