BRITAIN’S Got Talent star Lagi Demetriou becomes a father for the first time after welcoming a daughter.
The Stavros Platley dancer, who rose to fame on an ITV talent show 13 years ago, posted a picture of her newborn baby on Instagram.
TikTok star Lagi, 25, and his fiance Annika Crawford welcomed their first child together last Wednesday, March 31.
The dancer was a child when he appeared on a talent show with his father Demi to perform their iconic Greek dance.
Now everyone is grown up, Lagi, a father who lives with Annika in Cyprus, has revealed that he called his daughter Xenia.
The star posted a picture of the cute newborn’s hand as he shared the baby’s birthday on his social media.
Fans and friends went straight to the comment section to congratulate the two of them together for five years.
BGT Champions winners Twist and Pulse were among them too, and with a heart emoji, “The biggest congratulations to all of you.”
“Congratulations,” said former contestant Molly Rainford.
Lagi and Annika got engaged on New Year’s Eve 2020 and shared the happy news with friends on social media.
Annika paid romantic tribute to her soon-to-be husband last year, praising him as “her love, partner in crime and best friend.”
“You keep shining every day,” she whispered. Thank you for changing our lives for the better. thank you. Soon we will officially start life together and I am ready to be with you.”
Lagi rose to fame alongside her father, Demi, as part of Britain’s got talent duo Stavros Flateley, dubbed one of the most iconic auditions.
The act placed third in the 2009 ITV contest series, behind dance group Diversity and singer Susan Boyle.
In 2019, Lagi and Demi left forever after briefly returning to the stage for Britain’s Got Talent: Champions.
Lagi now runs a barbershop in Paphos, Cyprus, and Demi, along with his nephew Samson, 19, renovated Stavros Flateley.
