Cameron Carter-Vickers woke up to the Champions League after completing a £6m Celtic transfer last night.
The USA international signed a four-year contract with Ange Postecoglou after a successful loan spell last season.
Carter-Vickers was a key member of Aussie’s Hoops team and reclaimed the title from rival Rangers.
And the 24-year-old can’t wait to test himself with some of Europe’s best teams now that his long-term future is decided.
Carter-Vickers, who has been targeted by the English club, said: “I am very happy to have moved to Celtic.
“I have loved every moment of my time at Celtic so far and wanted to be a part of the future of the club.
“We have a fantastic group of players at the club and there is a really good spirit and atmosphere between us. We all worked hard together last season for the success of the League and League Cup.
“I wanted to make sure that I am part of this group in the future, working under a great manager, and now we all want to achieve more.
“We have so much to look forward to and we aim to be strong again domestically and of course look forward with real excitement for the Champions League.”
