Welcome

Good afternoon. Welcome to the live blog of the Scottish Premiership match between Celtic and Ross County.

As we approach the end of business for the season, finding three points to help with the campaign is a big deal for both sides.

Ange Postecoglou’s team wants to maintain their lead against the Rangers this afternoon.

A win at Celtic Park today puts them six points ahead of their Old Firm rivals.

The Light Blues will also be under pressure to play catch up when they face Dundee at Dens Park tomorrow afternoon.

Meanwhile, counties need positive results to help them get into the top six.

Malky Mackay’s team is currently in sixth place with 37 points, just one point away from fifth-placed Livingston and fourth-placed Hibs.

But they also have Dundee United, Motherwell and St Mirren all strangling with exactly the same total points as the Highlanders.

The only thing that separates them from the pack right now is a -7 goal difference, so you’ll want to avoid doing it at Parkhead this afternoon.

With only two game weeks left until the split, Ross County will be eager to get something to help out with a chance to get into the top six today.

However, this isn’t an easy question as the hosts are unbeaten in four matches and appear hungry for league success after being eliminated from Europe by Bodo/Glimt.

The scene is set. Get all team news and pre-match updates from Glasgow’s East End.
