Putin’s fanatical soldiers opened fire on innocent protesters demonstrating today in the Russian-occupied city of Kherson.

The most recent war crimes committed in Putin’s illegal invasion of the country were said to have occurred when Kremlin-backed troops opened fire at the crowd and threw stun grenades.

Social media video footage showed citizens fleeing the city’s Freedom Square.

Several people were reportedly injured when eyewitnesses reported hearing automatic gunshots.

Meanwhile, EU representatives have condemned the Russian attack on Mariupol as a “mass war crime”.

It comes as a series of member states continue to push for sanctions on Moscow’s core energy sector.

“What’s going on in Mariupol right now is a massive war crime of destroying, bombing and killing everything,” Josef Borrell said at the start of a meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels on Monday.
